There are so many things to do in Paris! Tour the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, visit the renovated Notre Dame - enjoy a cafe or shop your heart away!
The hotels listed in the hotel section are about as central as you can be in Paris. There are numerous cafes and restaurants right outside the hotel front doors.
Rue Saint-Honoré, one of the best shopping streets in Paris, is also right outside the hotels.
One of our favorite things to do in Paris is to do a food tour! The tours are conducted in English and will take you some hidden restaurants where the locals go for their croissants, cheese, or wine. We can recommend Paris by Mouth, having personally done 4 of their tours in different parts of the city.

The recently renovated Notre Dame Cathedral is open again. You can buy tickets ahead of time, or you can just arrive and join the line waiting to get in. The line is usually long but moves quickly. If you want to climb the bell tower, or walk along the roof of the cathedral, tickets will be needed ahead of time:

Another of our favorite tours in the city is to take an evening dinner cruise to see the city at night from the river. It sounds like it might be cheesy, but a dinner cruise on the Seine is one of our favorite tours. Dinner is usually good, and the lighted monuments at night are really spectacular! Both of these companies do a great job:

While there are countless restaurants in Paris to try, two that we have personally been and found to be great are Jules Verne (on the first level of the Eiffel Tower!) and Les Fous de l'Ile on Isle St Lious. They are on both ends of the dining spectrum.
Jules Verne is a famous Michelin starred restaurant on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower. Your table is surrounded by the beams and lights of the Eiffel Tower with huge windows giving you a fantastic view out over the city while you eat. Easily the best meal we have had in Paris. The menu is a prix-fixe and will have either 5 or 7 dishes depending on what you order. They make every effort to accommodate dietary restrictions, including vegetarian.
Reservations are a must and are hard to come by. The reservations open online exactly 90 days out. Prime evening dinner slots on a Friday or Saturday night will likely book in the first few hours of the day they become available. Definitely a bucket list venue and meal!

Les Fous de l'Ile is at the other end of the dining spectrum. It is a small walk in bistro on Île Saint-Louis, the smaller of the two islands in the heart of the city. Île Saint-Louis only has two streets and has maintained a small French village feel. We happened into Les Fous de I'lle while walking around one evening and had awesome pasta and wine. They offer reservations, but a reservation probably isn't really necessary.
If you'd like to see Eric running down the stairs towards the exit, visit the Dior History Museum (La Galerie Dior). Perfect for fashion enthusiasts - leave the guys behind! Tickets required.
